VIDEO INSTALLATION on physical expression in friendship between men. Indian men have a unique relationship : They hold hands, walk arm in arm and are far more physical in their expression than in Northern Europe, where close physical contact among men lasting more than a brief hug is considered taboo. In re-arranged settings and public spaces five pairs of male actors between the age of 26 to 70 explore how Indian men express themselves physically and how the communication of touch is perceived among men in Mumbai.

  1. One of my family friends is Indian and he always insists on giving a hug to everyone when he visits. I found this interesting because I was writing a post a few days ago about the difference between male and female's expressing their emotions in public.
